Alex Martinez Law is a law firm with offices at 1201 W Houston Ave., McAllen, TX 78501, and at 7280 N Frontage Rd, Olmito, TX 78575 (our Brownsville office). In this policy, “we” and “us” mean the firm.
02What this policy covers
This policy covers this website, including its Spanish pages, and the messages you send us through it. If you hire us, information about your case is also protected by our professional duty of confidentiality and by your written agreement with the firm.
03Information you give us
We receive the information you choose to send us:
- Contact and case review forms: your name, phone number, email, preferred language, the type of help you need, and what you write about your situation.
- Phone calls and text messages: your phone number and what you tell us.
- WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger: your name or profile name, your number, and your messages. These services are run by Meta under their own terms and privacy policies.
- Website chat: the details and messages you type into the chat window. The chat is run by Intaker under its own terms and privacy policy.

Please send only the basic facts we need to understand your situation. Our website disclaimer explains why.
04Information collected automatically
When you visit the site, our hosting provider and analytics tools may record technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the site that sent you here, and the date and time of your visit. We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, for this.
Cookies are small files your browser stores. The site uses cookies to work properly and to measure how pages are used. Google Analytics sets cookies that tell one visit from another. The Intaker chat sets cookies that remember the page you arrived on, the site that sent you and whether you have visited before. The site carries no advertising pixels. If that changes, this section will say so.
05How we use information
- To answer your call or message and schedule a consultation.
- To decide whether we can help, including checking for conflicts of interest.
- To talk with you in the language you choose, English or Spanish.
- To run, protect and improve the website.
- To meet our legal and professional duties.
If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your inquiry. Tell us at any time if you would rather we did not, and we will stop.
06How we share information
We do not sell the personal information you send through this website, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
We share information only when needed:
- With the service providers that host this website and run our forms, chat, phone, email and case systems for us. The website chat is run by Intaker, and site analytics by Google.
- With investigators, consultants, courts or government agencies, when you hire us and your case requires it.
- When the law requires it, such as a valid subpoena or court order.
07Cookies and your choices
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. If you block them, some parts of the site may not work as expected.
08How long we keep information
We keep inquiry information as long as we need it to respond to you and to meet our legal and professional record-keeping duties, and no longer.
09How we protect information
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we receive. No website, email or messaging service is completely secure, so please do not send confidential details through the website form. Call us instead.
10Children
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information through the site from children under 13. A parent or guardian can contact us about a child’s legal matter.
11Your requests
You can ask us what information we hold about you from the site, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, unless we must keep it by law or for an open matter. Email gethelp@alexmartinezlaw.com or call (956) 540-2255.
