Questions
Questions about a specific type of accident are answered on its own page.
It depends on your injuries, your medical bills and lost income, who was at fault and the insurance available. The quickest way to find out is a case review: answer seven questions above, or call us.
Most personal injury lawsuits have to be filed within two years of the date of the injury. A claim against a city, a county or another government body usually needs written notice much sooner — often within six months, and some cities require it faster still. Exceptions apply, so the safest thing is to ask early rather than assume you still have time.
You can still recover in Texas as long as you were 50% or less responsible. Your award is then reduced by your share of the fault. Insurers often argue your share is larger than it is, which is one of the main things we push back on.
Yes. Your right to compensation for an injury does not depend on your immigration status, and you do not need a Social Security number to bring a claim. We handle immigration matters in this same office, so if your case touches both, you are talking to one team. Everything you tell us is confidential.
No. We work on contingency: you pay no attorney’s fee unless we recover money for you. We explain any case costs before you sign, in writing, so there are no surprises later.
